Blue River Bio was selected as a finalist for Start-Up Stadium at the 2026 BIO International Convention, held June 22 to 25 in San Diego. We presented on Thursday, June 25 in the Pain Management session.
Start-Up Stadium is the convention’s showcase for start-up and emerging biotechnology and life science companies. It is open to companies with fewer than 20 employees that have raised less than $10 million since inception, and it gives them a platform to engage directly with the global investment community. Roughly 40 finalists are chosen each year to pitch before a panel of judges drawn from venture capital and industry.
The BIO International Convention is the largest gathering of the global biotechnology industry, bringing together thousands of companies, investors, and partners. Being selected to pitch alongside the field’s most promising early-stage companies is a strong signal of interest in our approach: opioid-level pain relief without the risk of addiction.
